Who promotes the awards?

The South West Drum and Bass Awards were created by Darren Bason and Nigel Muntz.

The Drum and Bass awards were originally conceived as a way of bringing together the scene in the South West and recognising the individuals that put so much hard work in the scene but don't get recognised at the National Drum and Bass Awards. Due to the success of the breaks room at the 2007 event, a new Breaks awards have been introduced to run alongside the event too, following the same idea.

This years awards are supported by 247 Magazine and Streetwise Music.

Who promotes the Rumble in the Jungle event?

The Rumble in the Jungle event is a co-promotion between The Eden Project Arts Cafe and Nigel Muntz.

The Eden Arts Cafe is a monthly event promoted by the Eden Project.

Rumble in the Jungle was born out of the 2009 'The Southwest Showdown' event held at the Eden Project, conceived as an idea to showcase the best underground music and artistic talent in the region, which included the South West Drum and Bass Awards being hosted amongst the world famous biomes. For 2010, the promoters are looking to build upon the success from last year and create a unique, one off event that sets the standard for others to follow.

This years event is supported by 247 Magazine, Red Bull and Out of Hand.
